Stella is a very rare Black Dun Snowcap Miniature Mare who is wonderfully bred on both sides of her pedigree and the icing on the cake is she is in the Main Register.

 

She is stocky, square, has good bone, a pretty head, lots of mane & tail, a dun dorsal and the most amazing white snow sprinkles on her rump - I have not seen one the same!  

 

She has produced her first foal this year from my Cremello Shetland Stallion - a very handsome Palomino Snowcap Colt which she foaled without issue and she is a very attentive, easy going mum.

Stella is blood tested and confirmed in foal for Spring 2022.

 

Stella will live out and happily stable, leads. grooms etc however, she takes a long time to trust you and until then, she is difficult to catch.  Also, she is very nervous about having her feet done, so a lot of time and patience is required by her new owner & farrier. 

 

Having said that, she has a very sweet, kind temperament just lacks in confidence due to not being handled much previously to me owning her.

 

She is registered by The British Spotted Pony Society (Main Register) and has no current health issues.

Stella will prove to be an outstanding broodmare in terms of producing quality, spotted foals in all sorts of unusual colours and would suit a small stud or a home where there is daily handling so she can grow in confidence.
