A rare opportunity to acquire an absolutely stunning, mega friendly & beautiful 33” Mushroom Shetland Mare.

Born 2016, owned since a foal, SPSBS Registered, loads of hair, beautiful white blaze, true Mushroom colour, up to date with worming & farrier.

Living out, happily stables, easy to catch, groom, do feet, lead etc, owned since a foal, no lami or vices, correct/no faults in movement and would easily show.

Covered by my Stallion first & only time in 2020 and was very accommodating, catching on first season but sadly lost her mushroom filly foal at 295 days due to placentitus. Flushed & medicated but not been covered since. Vet advised she may or may not get it again but can be medicated in later term if required until foaling.

Full PM undertaken on foal including all organs and was found 100% healthy, no defects. For this reason I would prefer a showing or pet home, but if someone wants to put her in foal again, they use Regumate and/or take the necessary vet advice to safeguard her & her baby.

Duchess is a genuine, rare and charismatic mare that is totally wasted with me as I concentrate on my WPBR’s. This is a difficult decision but she has so much to offer in a variety of ways and craves love & attention
